Dance Exams

The London Academy of Dance, offer students the opportunity to take accredited medal tests through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Medal test are a great way to develop a deeper and more technical understanding of dancing and upon passing certain levels, students are then able to rise through the grade system.

Exam Class

Our medal classes take place on Thursdays (depending on which course you are enrolled on) and are run in the form of monthly courses. Places are limited on all of the courses but no partner or previous experience is needed to take part. Our next series will begin in 2012.

Next Class

Our next series of exam classes start in Januray and February and will run until June.

What If I Miss A Class?

Don't worry if you have to miss a class as we always repeat what will have been taught in the previous class during the next lesson. We do allow people to join the course once its started but this will mean that, depending on how late in the course they join, that they will have to attend some private tuition first to catch up on what they have missed before joining the other pupils on the course. The cost of the course does not change depending on the number of classes a student can attend.

Private Lessons

Those who are enrolled on the examination course have eligible for discounted private tuition should they wish to catch up on a missed lesson or go over some of the points raised in the class.
